Hey there! I’m Diana, the founder of Sweet Without Wheat, LLC, based right here in Alexandria, Virginia. Sweet Without Wheat isn't just your average micro bakery; it's a cozy haven where I pour my passion into crafting irresistible gluten-free treats for every occasion, all lovingly prepared in my own kitchen.
After earning my Master's in Social Work from GMU, my career path took me through Geriatric Social Work, living abroad, and embracing the role of a stay-at-home mom. Baking cookies initially served as a way to bond with my two children, but it quickly became apparent that my creations were more than just tasty treats—they were a calling to share something special with the gluten-free community in a meaningful way.
With nearly two decades of living gluten-free, I founded Sweet Without Wheat on the belief that everyone deserves access to delicious gluten-free goodies. Over the years, I've honed my recipes to replicate the textures and flavors of traditional baked goods. Drawing inspiration from my travels and diverse cultures, I infuse my creations with unique flavors rarely found in the gluten-free world, sparking joy and curiosity with my favorite question: 'Is this really gluten-free?!'
At Sweet Without Wheat, we're committed to using only the finest natural, premium ingredients, with a preference for organic whenever possible. Our creations are completely made from scratch and free from artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, preservatives, and any other questionable additives.
